THE FAMILIAR STRANGER:
THE RELATIONSHIP AMONG NEIGHBOURS IN THE PUBLIC SPACE
The Familiar Stranger is a book that explores the relationship between neighbourhoods in a British community. The purpose of this project is to help people understand the importance of interpersonal relationships within the community and to reflect on the problems caused by the indifference of residents to arouse people's sense of community participation. The project uses the theory of praxeology to analyse human behaviour that has personal and social consequences, alongside testimonies about neighbourhood relationships that express a sense of strangeness among neighbours. At the same time, it uses graphic interventions to hide and reveal information about ignored neighbours.
